Whether you have a cracked laptop screen, broken charging port, damaged hinge, or another hardware problem, our technicians can diagnose the issue and get your computer working again.
A cracked laptop screen, broken charging port, damaged hinge, or faulty keyboard doesn’t always mean you need a new computer. Many hardware problems can be repaired by replacing the damaged component, installing upgraded hardware, or performing a fresh Windows installation if the operating system has been affected. We’ll inspect your computer, identify exactly what’s wrong, and explain the most cost-effective repair options.
The good news is that many laptop hardware repairs can be completed without replacing the entire computer. Whether you need a screen replacement, charging port repair, keyboard replacement, RAM or SSD upgrade, cooling fan replacement, or another internal hardware repair, we’ll explain everything in plain English and help you decide whether repairing or replacing your computer makes the most sense.
Our Computer Repair Center: Downingtown, PA
A small crack can quickly spread and eventually make your laptop difficult – or impossible – to use.
If your charger only works at certain angles, continuing to use it can cause additional damage to the charging port or motherboard.
A stiff or broken hinge puts stress on the screen, bezel, and internal display cable, often leading to more expensive repairs later.
Loud fans and excessive heat aren’t just annoying; they can shorten the life of your computer and cause unexpected shutdowns.
Batteries, keyboards, storage drives, and other components naturally wear out over time. Replacing them can often extend the life of your computer by years.
Walk in anytime during business hours – no appointment needed. We’ll take a look and figure out what’s going on.
Once we’ve found the problem, we’ll explain it in plain English and provide a quote before any repairs begin.

Yes. We replace cracked, shattered, flickering, and non-working laptop screens for many makes and models. In many cases, replacing the screen is far more affordable than replacing the entire laptop. Once we inspect your computer, we'll provide a quote for the replacement screen and labor before any repair begins, so you'll know exactly what to expect. (There is no obligation to move forward with repairs.)
Absolutely. If your laptop only charges when the cable is held a certain way, won't charge at all, or has a loose charging port, we can determine whether the problem is the charger, battery, charging port, DC power jack, or another internal hardware issue. We'll identify the cause and recommend the most cost-effective repair to get your laptop charging properly again.
Yes. Broken hinges, damaged laptop cases, missing keys, unresponsive keyboards, and touchpad problems are all common hardware repairs we perform. Repairing these issues early can often prevent additional damage to the screen, internal display cable, or other components, saving you money in the long run.
Many computers can be given a second life with the right hardware upgrades. Installing a solid-state drive (SSD), adding more memory (RAM), replacing a failing hard drive, or upgrading other internal components can dramatically improve performance without the cost of buying a new computer. We'll let you know if upgrading makes sense or if replacing the computer would be the better investment.
Yes. While many hardware repairs involve laptops, we also repair desktop computers. We replace hard drives, SSDs, power supplies, cooling fans, memory (RAM), graphics cards, and other internal components, as well as perform hardware diagnostics, Windows installation, and performance upgrades for many desktop PCs.
Absolutely. We believe in honest recommendations, not unnecessary repairs. If we think replacing your laptop or desktop would be a better investment than repairing it, we'll tell you why and explain your options. Our goal is to help you make the smartest decision - not sell you a repair you don't need.
Every hardware repair starts with a $87.50 diagnostic fee, which includes up to 30 minutes of technician labor to inspect your computer, identify the problem, and provide a repair quote. The diagnostic fee is due regardless of whether you move forward with the repair, but there's never any obligation to continue. If replacement parts are needed, we'll provide an upfront quote and can usually supply the hardware ourselves, everything from laptop screens and charging ports to RAM, SSDs, batteries, and other components. Most parts are kept in stock for faster service, and repairing your existing computer is often far more affordable than replacing it with a new one.
